  If you want authentic Lao and Thai food for a great value...you'll find it here at King Market.
  
  King Market has held its ground for several years now because they remain true to their roots. The flavors, level of spice, and items on the menu are authentic to Lao-Thai culture. I truly believe that if you just make good food, no matter what ethnicity, people will come...and they'll enjoy it.
  
  You also get a great portion for a good value. I always have leftovers to take home whether it's a soup dish or stir fry. I'll be coming here for many, many more years to come.

  How many people have you met that went through Nashville and didn't stop for BBQ but stopped for Thai?

  Restaurant is situated inside a grocery store.  Fantastic food.  Huge portions.  Cheap.

  PSA: Nashville's best hidden treasure.
  
  Thai restaurant hidden in the back on a little Asian grocery store in Antioch, and you won't want to miss this place. It's authentic, it's unique, and it's the best darn Thai food I've had in Nashville to date.
  
  A little out of the way for this West Nashville girl, but so worth the drive. Once you get there it's easy peasy parking. You walk through the grocery aisles to the back where this gem is tucked in so cozily.
  
  We ordered the egg rolls to start then shared the Paneng and Green Curry soup, both came with rice. Shared a fresh coconut to sip on, which they crack right in front of you at the table. The food had such delicious flavor. Paneng was my favorite as it had a bit more of a kick, but my date preferred the Green Curry which was milder and had more of that coconut flavor. You can't go wrong here. They also had a noodle dish with fried pork belly that I will definitely be ordering next time.
  
  Kind, quick service and you really felt like you were in someone's home... they care about your experience.

  I was most excited about this restaurant when I found it on Yelp, it sounded like my kind of place! I convinced my husband to drive 45 minutes to take us there for dinner last night. When we got there, there were four other parties waiting to be seated behind us. After a long wait, the server came to our table and in my excitement, I told her this is our first time trying food from Laos, I do not know if I said something wrong with my statement but she said she will be right back and proceeded to take care of the other tables that were seated after us. She took their orders, brought them their appetizers and then only finally came to our table! We were already so uncomfortable by that point.
  
  We ordered the fresh coconut water, Malaysian noodles, Papaya Salad and Panang Curry. Out of everything we ordered Papaya salad was the only thing I liked. They made it super spicy just as I wanted and it was delicious. Malaysian Noodles were just ok and the Panang Curry, I had such high hopes but it was just overwhelmingly loaded with so much broccoli and carrots that we couldn't enjoy it.
  
  My husband walked out of there saying the service was the worst he has ever experienced. Like I mentioned, I had such high hopes for this place but something just didn't click here.

  OHMYGODYESSSS. Even if you aren't vegan or vegetarian, this food is the freakin' BOMBDOTCOM!!! The service is awesome, they support animal rights, they care about what their impact is on the world, and they make incredible food. Why wouldn't you give this place a chance??!
